Company Surpasses Waste-Reduction Goal; Helps Customers Save Time and Conserve Resources

AMES, Iowa, July 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Workiva (NYSE:WK), creator of the Wdesk cloud-based productivity platform for enterprises, today released its fourth annual Sustainability Report that shows how the company cares for its employees, customers and communities.

"Workiva is built for the way people want to work today," said Matt Rizai, Chairman and CEO of Workiva. "We work in the cloud, which enables one in five employees to be a telecommuter."

Workiva relies on its Wdesk platform to give people the same technology features at work that they enjoy at home: speed, access, sharing and linking. "We bring the consumer-technology experience to the workplace, which makes work more enjoyable for our employees and our customers," said Rizai.

"Wdesk also helps our customers be more efficient in ways that save time and conserve resources," added Rizai. "Wdesk enables collaboration and control from anywhere with an internet connection, eliminating excess travel and excess paper."

"Our workplace is an accepting environment, where employees can freely share ideas and opinions," said Rizai. Workiva has an employee advisory group that meets monthly to create solutions for improvement. Recent initiatives include employee engagement, diversity and inclusion affinity groups, paid-leave policies and culture development.

The report also explains how Workiva incorporates environmental practices throughout its offices and grounds.
