Wdesk Recognized for Modernizing the Way People Work
AMES, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Workiva
(NYSE:WK), a leading provider of enterprise cloud solutions for
improving productivity, accountability and insight into business data,
today announced that its Wdesk platform has been named a leader and
winner in the 2017
BIG Innovation Awards presented by the Business Intelligence Group.
The Business Intelligence Group named 32 companies as leaders and
winners in its 2017 BIG Innovation Awards. This annual business awards
program recognizes those who have brought new ideas to life and seek to
change the way we all experience the world.
Wdesk
was recognized for how it has modernized the way people work at over
2,700 organizations, including more than 70 percent of the Fortune 500
companies. “The technology features people have come to expect as
consumers – speed, access and sharing – are available at work with
Wdesk,” said Matt Rizai, Chairman and CEO of Workiva.
“The sheer pace of innovation is accelerating in virtually every
industry as new technology allows corporations and other organizations
to rethink how they approach and solve real problems that affect the way
we work, love and play,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Operating Officer of
the Business Intelligence Group. “We are thrilled to be honoring Workiva
as they are leading by example and making real progress on improving the
daily lives of so many.”
What makes Wdesk different is that all of the data inside the platform –
in spreadsheets, documents, presentations and reports – is linked
together. Wdesk also records every change by every user, which means it
has a complete audit trail. “With Wdesk our customers can trust their
data from beginning to end, which helps them save time, reduce risk and
make better decisions,” said Rizai.
In the fall of 2016, Workiva enhanced its Wdesk
Data Platform, which powers
one of the largest and fastest spreadsheet applications in the cloud
and improves data relationships for Sarbanes-Oxley and internal control
teams. The Data Platform offers dynamic dashboards, automates reporting
and supports advanced testing workflow.
Organizations from across the globe submitted their recent innovations
for consideration in the 2017 BIG Innovation Awards. Nominations were
then judged by a select group of business leaders and executives who
volunteer their time and expertise to score submissions and provide
feedback.
