Workiva employees, Jeana Gingery, Toni Muhlbauer and Hannah Deering recently shared with the Technology Association of Iowa why the tech company values diverse backgrounds, beliefs and interests in its employees.
Workiva values diversity as an important source of intellectual thought, varied perspective, and innovation. As a company, Workiva has been taking the steps to support, engage, and advance groups underrepresented in the technology industry. Workiva aims to recruit, support, and retain employees with diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and interests. Efforts include: developing the Diversity and Inclusion Committee; hosting, sponsoring, and recruiting diverse candidates; training employees and managers; and encouraging employee resource groups.
