Workiva customers weigh in on adapting to working virtually

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic,  global companies and governments implemented remote-working mandates in hopes that the distance created would help to slow the spread of the disease, while science and medicine worked diligently to find a cure. 

While these rules ultimately put the health and safety of the workforce and their families first, they also introduced a new way of working that forced many teams to question if their current technology and protocols in place would enable them to maintain business continuity.

In two recent pieces published in The Wall Street Journal, Workiva customers Alcon and Kinder Morgan, who relied heavily on the automation, transparency and collaboration tools found within the Workiva cloud-based platform before remote working, weighed in on some of the challenges global organizations and auditors will face in the coming months of working remotely.
