Workiva Hosts Amplify Europe User Conference
ESEF Regulatory Mandate and Global Statutory Reporting to be Featured at Connected Reporting and Compliance Conference
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Workiva (NYSE:WK), provider of the world’s leading connected reporting and compliance platform, today announces that it will host a user conference, Amplify Europe, on 21 November at The Crystal here.
Amplify Europe will bring together Workiva customers, partners and industry leaders for a full day of training, networking and professional development on global reporting and compliance.
Global Inline XBRL Leader Solves ESEF Reporting Challenges
Workiva – the global leader in XBRL and Inline XBRL – helps Foreign Private Issuers use XBRL tags in their U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings.
European companies are now looking to Workiva's global expertise as they prepare to comply with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) mandate for Inline XBRL for European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) reporting. The ESEF mandate applies to annual reports for periods starting on or after January 1, 2020.
“The ESMA mandate for Inline XBRL is the first SEC-style, cross-European mandate of its kind,” said Andromeda Wood, Senior Director of Data Modeling at Workiva. “Our connected reporting platform, backed by our dedicated Inline XBRL customer success team, is transforming how companies report under ESMA regulations.”
Workiva Streamlines Global Statutory Reporting
Multinational companies use Workiva to improve efficiency and transparency in global statutory reporting, which is a complex process for multi-entity reporting under local requirements in each jurisdiction where they do business.
“Workiva is the only cloud platform that provides data assurance throughout the entire global statutory reporting process,” said Dermot Murray, General Manager of EMEA for Workiva. “We help organizations all over the world connect their data in a single, cloud environment to create trusted reports and compliance filings, whether it’s to local jurisdictions or global regulators.”
Amplify Europe highlights include:
- Roundtables on global reporting challenges, including the ESEF mandate
- Platform demonstrations on Protection of Client Assets and Money (CASS) reporting, Inline XBRL tagging, integrated risk and global statutory reporting
- Customer panels on best practices in connected reporting and compliance
